Questions
& Answers

  • Face to Face
I have a Private Practice based in Timperley Village in South Manchester, which has easy access to both tram and motorways networks.
  • Online
Everyone has adapted during the pandemic and working online has been an opportunity to offer my services to a wider reach. I now work with people across the UK and in different countries.
  • Home visits
I don’t always offer a home visit, however this can be very beneficial for children who may feel a little nervous working with an adult they may not have met before. Home visits are also an option for anyone who may have health implications that reduces their mobility.
  • Outdoor Therapy
Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones. Working with me outdoors will give you the space and freedom to work with what your head and heart need to process, releasing emotions into the open space. Nature deprivation, a lack of time in the natural world, largely due to hours spent in front of TV or computer screens, has been associated, unsurprisingly, with depression. This has been particularly prevalent during lockdown, more so with the younger population. Fear of missing out (FOMO) can hugely impact our mental health and wellbeing. If you’re curious about what working outdoors would entail, email or call me and I can go through it with you. I offer lots of different packages ranging from a one hour walk to a full days hike, giving you the opportunity to spend a full day solely working through your thoughts and feelings with no distractions other than nature. This experience can be exceptionally thought provoking, immersive and reflective.
